Dear Friends,

Just a little note to let you know I DO get all of your emails and I DO read each one personally. I read them at night before I go to bed. I laugh and I cry and I cannot believe it’s ME you are talking about. In fact, I am keeping them all in 3-ring notebooks so I will always have you near.

What some do not realize is that over the past 4 months I have received over 10,000 emails. I have tried and tried to figure out a way to answer you personally and it is physically impossible. When you ask me to pray for you, I do so immediately. I agree in prayer with you as I am reading your words.

I know that so many today are suffering. Know that God does hear our prayers and He does answer our prayers. Maybe not in our time frame; or He may give us an answer we don’t like. But we need to continue to trust Him no matter what our circumstances. If we don’t have God to help us than who can we turn to?

I don’t know why God allows us to have cancer or any other disease, but I know that He does not make any mistakes. There is a verse I quote EVERYDAY that brings me peace when I am afraid. It’s found in 1 Thess. 5:18:

IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU.

He has promised us that He will NOT put more on us than we can bear and God does not lie! The Bible says He CANNOT lie! So, if I’m living a righteous life, if my heart is right with God, then I can claim His many promises and live in peace. And that is, “no matter WHAT is happening in my life!”

I have learned over the years that there are some questions that there are no answers to. So, why waste our time going over and over and over questions that cannot be answered, at least here on this earth. I’ve had so many questions myself! But at least I have been able to give them to God and not try to ask WHY anymore. My brother died before me; my sister died of breast cancer while she was in her 40’s; my little cousin committed suicide; my dad and mom both died so young; the world’s largest ministry that my husband and I had worked for years to build was taken from us by another minister! (Heritage USA was 3rd only to Disneyland and Disney World as a vacation destination. The last year we were there over 6 million people visited Heritage USA. It now sits in decay, rotting away.) I have finally quit asking WHY. God could have stopped that take over at any time; He chose not to. 1 Thess. 5:18!! So, give it all to HIM, He will never fail you, my friends.
